Born in the 70’s, I was dragged up by my boot straps on a Yorkshire farm, surrounded by hills, siblings, dogs and bale twine.
I had the customary access to a camera as a kid, and found it taking over my desire to teach when based at the British Council in Northern Thailand in my early 20’s. Everywhere was a picture, every face was a story.
Fast forward a handful of years and I’m now living back in Yorkshire, surrounded by bigger hills, my own family and dogs and extremely fast broadband. I work out of London, all over the world, with the great team that is MorganLockyer, and my wonderful and varied crew, who make me laugh.
My photography mirrors the honest and eclectic surroundings I’ve always hankered after and the intimacies/warmth I’ve always craved, along with the childlike wonder to explore the world and it’s people.
